Sean Cook
PresidentSean Cook is a behavioral health professional focused on expanding access to substance use treatment and recovery services, particularly in California. He began working in the field in 2015 when he joined Diversified Monitoring Services (DMS), a company that provides alternatives to incarceration through services such as alcohol monitoring, drug testing, GPS tracking, therapy, and support groups. In 2018, Cook expanded his work beyond monitoring programs by launching an outpatient treatment program, allowing individuals to receive structured substance use care without entering residential treatment. The following year, he established a Medi-Cal–based outpatient program designed to make addiction treatment more accessible to low-income adults in California through the state’s Medicaid system. Building on this experience, he founded Coastal Point Recovery in 2024, a residential detox center in Dana Point that provides medically supervised detox, therapy, group support, and individualized aftercare.
